Owner/Manager and Senior Escrow Officer Galit Ofengart has 17 years of extensive escrow experience. Working her way through the ranks, Galit was first an Escrow Assistant, then an Escrow Officer and is now owner of Escrow of the West, serving as one of its Senior Escrow Officers. Galit gained recognition for her ability to smoothly process standard as well as uniquely complex transactions while providing her clients with very detailed and personal service. Her professionalism, knowledge and dedication are the cornerstone of the success of Escrow of the West and the main source for client loyalty and referrals. “I have always believed that great customer service should come first and I now have the opportunity to create that environment for my existing and future clients.”

Escrow Officer Clif Young is responsible for preparing instructions for sale and providing refinance instructions from various lenders. Clif comes to Escrow of the West from Academy Escrow, Inc. in Burbank, CA, where he served as an Escrow Officer and Operations Manager responsible for title escrow duties and personnel issues. Clif has a variety of experience in the escrow field and began his career as an Escrow Assistant with Virtual Escrow in Encino, CA. Clif has a thorough knowledge of the escrow industry and explains his strategies for his current position: “My goal at Escrow of the West is to build a solid clientele base while providing the best, most immediate service that addresses our clients' concerns.”

Senior Escrow Officer Lynne Davis is responsible for running a full-time desk and preparing all types of transactions, such as resales, refinancing, new constructions, as well as commercial property. Lynne comes to Escrow from Fidelity Title in Beverly Hills, CA, where she served as Branch Manager/Escrow Officer responsible for managing employees as well as overseeing daily banking activities. Prior to Fidelity, Lynne worked as an Escrow Officer for Heritage Escrow, also in Beverly Hills. Even with her numerous referrals, good reputation and consistency—a true marker of her success—Lynne was ready to diversify and try something new; Escrow, she feels, is a great fit. “My goal is to continue creating a thriving business in this family-oriented environment and for people to continue to associate my name with the escrow industry.”

Escrow Officer Lizette Hurtado's more than six years of solid escrow experience has been concentrated in the areas of refinance and sales transactions. An asset to Escrow of the West, Lizette is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English, which allows her to effectively communicate the escrow process to two unique audiences. Lizette began her career at Heritage Escrow where she worked as a Trust Accounting/File Clerk before moving into an assistant role at Pickford Escrow. In this last position for only nine months, Lizette was recruited by Escrow of the West owner, Galit Ofengart, to begin working with her as an Escrow Assistant. Recognized for her savvy negotiation and people skills, Lizette was quickly promoted to a Jr. Escrow Officer and shortly thereafter, became an Escrow Officer. “The most important thing is to make the client feel comfortable while I ensure their escrow transaction will be a smooth one.”
